I love this poem my son wrote when he was in his teens. It's about trusting yourself and respecting yourself - being a king. And for birthdays he would make a cardboard crown for himself to wear (and eventually his sisters got to wear it too).
"King for the Day" = a birthday!
So when I saw the Resolve Hat in one of it's creative variations as a CROWN by Nell Ziroli (@NellKnits) - I made one.
Then another and another...
They are addicitve, a great way to play with color, and hats are my favorite pallette cleanser after a big meal... I mean ... BIG project.
